Dr. Kirkpatrick
Born and raised in Cincinnati, Ohio, Dr. Kirkpatrick realized at a young age that he wanted to be a scientist. In fact, he thought that he wanted to be a marine biologist. At the same time, he always enjoyed going to the dentist. The way he saw it was that you just sat there with your mouth open for an hour and then you got to pick out a cool toy afterward! It probably helped that he brushed his teeth everyday and never had any problems with them.
In grade school he studied hard and graduating from Reading High School and then continuing at the University of Cincinnati, receiving a Bachelors of Science degree in 1982. Upon completion of his degree at UC, enrolled in the dental program at Ohio State University. sophmore year decedied to be dentist. Received your doctorate in General Dentistry. Going to Ohio State was quite an experience for Dr. Kirkpatrick. In addition to learning from some of the best professors in the Midwest, he formed lasting relationships with other students in his class.
These relationships help Dr. Kirkpatrick keep up with the latest in dental technologies. Subscribing to the theory that ‘two heads are better than one’, Dr. Kirkpatrick continually bounces ideas off of his dental colleagues. It was there that his love for Ohio State basketball and football was born. Although he doesn’t find the time to get up there on game day anymore, he fondly recalls the atmosphere in Columbus on saturdays in the fall.
